Although there are alot of web sites available to get the diagram from. I prefer to use a manual. And some manuals I have found are better than others for different applications. For example, I found more wiring diagrams with better understanding from Haynes manuals rather than Chilton's. The wiring in any VW is fairly easy to follow. Time and patience and labeling and a good manual are all you need. Good Luck..

Pick up a Chiltons or a VW shop manual (about $10 on eBay) it will not only have the wiring diagram but sooner or later you are going to need other information.

Most of the wiring is pretty simple and the diagrams are pretty good.

If you find a wiring diagram for "any" beetle, it will do in most cases for most wires. It didn't change much over the years.
