My head has been bothering me all day I took some motrin this afternoon. Also late afternoon, and just recentally. It feels like there is so much pressure on it and my neck even hurts. I don't know if this is a headache or what, does anyone have any advice?

Wet a hand towel and wring it out, fold and place in the microwave for 35 seconds. Lay down and place it on your face and the back of your neck as many times as needed (reheat in between uses) This should help relieve the pain.

Motrin is, I think, for inflammation. Excedrin or aspirin will work better on a headache.

I hope this helps you feel better, it always works for me.

#1 you should be drinking at least 1/2 gallon of liquid each day mostly water. Head of neurology compaires a body low on water to a car low on oil. (blown engine potiental)

See a massage therapist if possible, back, shoulders including the front, and neck. You rub or scratch lightly any/everywhere on your head you will find places that are tender they are knots in the muscle called trigger points. That is where you want to rub across (with the muscle if you can tell which way) 6-12 times per session up to 6 times per day until they are gone.

I'm not a doctor, but it sounds like a muscle tension headache. Over the counter medicines usually won't help those. Try asking someone to give you a neck massage and put heat on it to loosen it up. If that doesn't help, go see your doctor and he/she can refer you to a physical therapist.

i tried this once....get like any kind of cloth or a towel or anything that is like fabric..and wrap it around your heard very tightly...i tried...and it didnt bother my head for the whole day....cause when your head hurts...your head gets the heartbeat sound in it...and the only way to back the process is to massage your head or wrap anything around it.
