YOUR TASTE FOR FOOD CHANGES QUITE A BIT BECAUSE THE HARD PALATE IS NOW COVERED BY PLASTIC. THE ROOF OF THE MOUTH HAS MANY TASTE BUDS. THE BOTTOM PIECE IS CONSTANTLY COMING LOOSE, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU CHEW YOUR FOOD.
BITING INTO APPLES IS BUT A MEMORY OF THE PAST.
DENTURES ARE BETTER THAN NO TEETH, BUT KEEP YOUR OWN AS LONG AS POSSIBLE.

My friend and her husband both got dentures when they were fairly young (early 30s). They kept them in overnight until they got used to them. They did say that they were very uncomfortable in the beginning--but they went back to the dentist as many times as it took to get them feeling right.
