Have a lot of self confidence, just be your self, and if they don't like it, then the heck with them.
You want a girl that wants you for who you are not for pretending to be someone you're not. Some times is hard to find them but again is worth it to wait.
But if you want to have fun and no serious relationship then just be fun, polite but cool and make her feel special.

Dont ever go up to a woman and talk to her.. at least not in a place like a club or bar...

Women will be offended and totally make you feel like a loser.
They also dont like to feel like they are being picked up or their personal space is being invaded.

Women suck I know, I am one...

Anyway, the only advice I can offer, is to look good, have a smile on your face, be cool, and dont ever look desperate.

Make eye to eye contact when scanning a room, only. If someone is scanning too, and you come in contact with some eyes you like, just quickly smile, and look away.
When you are walking around with friends or whatever and you pass by a pretty girl, give her some eye contact and a smile and keep walking.

If you get a good vibe from any of the girls you have eye contact with, convince your friends to pull over by her group of friends, and have conversation. Gently involve the girls group of friends into the conversation... for example...

More than likely they will answer without feeling threatend.
Then move on to the girl now, and get more in depth about the subject...

First of all it depends on your age on how you should flirt. The main thing is keep it casual and no cheesy pick up lines. Make a comment on what she is wearing is a good starting point. This will help her to understand that you noticed how nice she looked. After that the conversation should take off from there.

Ok go to the mall and talk to random women so that eventually you won't even have any fear of talking to women at all. You have to first get comfortable around them before you can do any work on getting them.
