For some reason I only like lemon juice and sugar on my pancakes! Each year the press comes out with new recipes and ideas- nutella, jam, treacle- I suppose just as they do in Belgium and France with their crepes- but the old faithful is the best in my mind!!

i help run a resturant in north london with student we had some sweet ingrediants to use on pancake day. i got the students to make up almost like an apple pie filling with sultans ect. we place the filling in side the pancake and sealed the edge with egg. coated it all in egg and then in dessicated coconut and then shallow fried.................

I always make tea-flavoured pancakes for the fathers. Washed-down with a nice cup of tea!

Hubby likes lemon juice and sugar, and our daughter like butter and chunky fruit jam.
