Although they are the minority, there are many kind, unselfish, and humble people in the world. However, when was the last time you met someone that posessed these qualities on such a level, they seemed almost as if they were from another place, or you were left wondering if they were LITERALLY angels in disguise.

Or maybe their spirit and demeanor was so gentle and loving, you've yet to meet anyone else like this person?

What made this person appear this way to you? What did they do? How did they speak? How did they act? Thanks

I have met several people who I will call Saints. They do not mince words when it comes to Gods will for them-self or for others but, they are the most loving and generous people with both their time and material goods. It is obvious that the Holy Spirit is operating in their lives and they are content to let him.

Most of the people that resemble your description, I have met at my church, Hillview Bible Chapel. Although under the right circumstances anyone can choose to put others first, they just don't for fear that they might not get something in return or noticed for their kind deeds. I long all the time for the patience & wisdom & love that will allow me to be like that...But only God knows if that will happen. I hope to come across many more with those qualities but as you said they are a minority!

Humble and kind people are rarities because they easily fall preys to aggressive and mean spirited people; thus sufferings continue. I hope to change the world for more harmony and less conflicts.

When I spoke to a Buddhist monk, I felt he was the most humble and kind person I have ever met. He spoke with words of wisdom yet he did not present himself as superior. He spoke with enthusiasm like a fatherly figure. He was knowledgeable in many languages so I was almost like speaking to my relatives.

I look forward to seeing him again to learn more.

I've met two who were like that. One was named Tianna (she passed away in 2001 at the age of twenty), and the other was David (who passed away in 2000 at the age of sixteen).
Tianna was one of those people who just lit up whatever room she entered. Everything about her was just...incredible. She was so incredibly sweet, and thoughtful. I think she was just about as close to an angel as any human can possibly get. She knew just what to say to lift a person up. One touch from her completely warmed even the coldest heart. She was a breath of fresh air, and an oasis. I miss her dearly.
I first met David when he was seven and I was eleven. By that time, the disease that would eventually claim his life (Batten's, it's very rare) had already taken his sight. And yet...David was always so full of light and life. When he smiled, it was as though God Himself reached down, and made it all the brighter. When David really started to fail, it was difficult to be around him. But I still remember the last time he recognized me. He was wheelchair-bound, and barely able to hold up his head. I went up to him, and asked him if he remembered me. And he gave me this huge grin, and reached for my hand, and just breathed my name. I about cried. He died a few months after that.
I believe very firmly that those two were touched by God, and that they were so PERFECT in His eyes, that He couldn't bear to let them stay here in an imperfect world.
I miss them...but knowing them renewed my hope, and helped renew my faith in God.
