can synthetic hair be dyed?

Nope (tried it once!). Dye only works on natural hair, because the way dye works is to take the original pigment out and then put the new pigment in. You can always find synthetic hair in tons of colors online.

My BF tried doing that to a wig that he got at the thrift shop. He used RIT that dye you get at the grocery store for dyeing clothes. It did not work.

no because it is not natural hair.
