1) it dries it out and takes out the nutrients
2) every time our hair gets wet is gets curly and unmanageable if we do not role it and go under the dryer which for me is a 2 hour process
3) we don't get lice

what makes you think that black people wash their hair any more or less than anyone else...lets reprase your question to..why do people only wash their hair once a week. Probably because they have dry hair and it just dries it out more to wash it a lot.

those variety of human beings are being mean to you!! even as i'm speaking in my historic previous classification and that i say African individuals like countless of the black human beings in my classification tell me to call them black because they imagine declaring african american is stupid. I talked to at least one of my friends about how she does her hair and she or he takes a bath commonly used, yet she washes her hair like a pair of times a week, yet oils it lots. this isn't a stupid question because you've been basically wondering about what your chum reported and also you surpassed off to go back for the time of human beings that theory you've been racist, this is ridiculous, because you reported black. you're not to any extent further being immature, so those human beings opt to quiet down.

because the hair is very dry and washing it everyday will cause the hair to become dry and brittle. usually anyone with dry hair does not wash their hair as often as someone with oily hair.

Most "true" african americans have very fine and corse hair and if they were to wash it it more than once a week it wouldn't be good for it.

When hair is washed too often it depletes the natural oils that keep hair healthy.
