Could he be interested in me?
There is a guy at work (in a restaurant). He's pretty shy around me. I think that he finds it difficult to talk to me. Like the other day, no other co-workers were around except for me and him... he walked past me and lingered for a while (like he's thinking) before asking me about school (we're both college students). He often comments on how smart I am.
He also stares at me a lot and whenever I look his direction, he looks away or looks at something else that's in my direction.
He's really nice to me-- but in a modest way. He does little things to make my job easier. The thing is that I kind of like him too and I don't know if this is clouding my judgement.

Yet another failure of the so-called "more empathetic" woman. He's just shy. If he wasn't interested, he wouldn't ask you about things, get nervous around you, or try to help you.
All three of those things together equals, a severe crush with a heaping side of low self-esteem.
The bad thing, for him anyway, is that armed with this knowledge, you can be a total b**** and have him eating out of your hand and bending over backwards around your little finger for just the tiniest display of favoritism from you.
Or you can take the high road, and try to help him feel good about himself by expressing you feelings for him.
You have the tools, the rest is up to you.

I think it could be clouding your judgment, but you will never know unless you ask him out to a cup of coffee first maybe as friends, then let time take your path or journey. Good luck!

Well yeah I think he likes you he's just to shy to openly flirt or doesn't really know how lol. Kinda like me lol =0.Just talk to him. And love is blind. You can't explain if love/like clouds your judgment. So no I don't think it's clouding your judgment.
