Amtrak runs a Capitol Corridor line between the East Bay Area and Sacramento, it's only about $30 one way. To get into San Francisco, you can take the light-rail transit BART from Oakland, and I think it goes to Antioch also.

Your going to leave San Francisco by bus, then you'll rendezvous in Emeryville and catch the train to Sacramento. What a deal, the fare is only $42 for the train and whatever the bus cost.

Take the Amtrak train,it is a pretty nice ride from SF to Sacramento. I believe it's the Starlight that travels the west coast. The fare should be pretty good, probably under $50.

You can take amtrak. They have a shuttle bus that wil pick you up by bus at several loacation in the city (ferry building, union square, pier 39, fisherman's wharf, moscone center, etc.)and take you to their emeryville station, where you can catch a train to Sacramento.
Full fare for the bus and train is $21, and there and many tains every day.

p.s. amtrak is way better than greyhound...and since it's a train, you wont be late even if there's traffic.

From Antioch it cost $14 go by Amtrak the station is not far from where you are.
