My parents are very strict, and I really need to stay home from school the next day. They are going to want proof, and without a fever, Im not going to skip school. I DONT want to fake it, I need to ACTUALLY get a fever.

While I do not condone this course of action, I believe this will work: stop drinking fluids and stop urinating altogether. You will of course become dehydrated, but your body should begin to overheat. This could take a few days and much discipline. This will also probably actually make you sick.

Once again, I do not advise you to do this, but am only offering it as educational information.

There is NO way to get a fever, kiddo. None. You actually have to have an infection that is bad enough to cause your temperature to go up. You can't just take anything or get germs that fast so you can't go to school tomorrow.

Just go to school. No matter why you don't want to go, the problem will STILL be there when you do go back. You can't hide forever.

Sorry, there is no way to do that. All you can do is drink something very warm before you take your temp, or sneak the thermometer under hot water. You can be sick and not have a fever.

Rub some lyle soap {Available at your local grocery store}
under your armpit before your oral thermometer test this should up your fever
by 5 to 6 points.

Good Luck!

Sorry...unless you have access to viruses or diseases. You are going to have to fake it.
I suggest you fake throwing up...much easier to do than fake a fever. Finger down the throat....proof will be in the toilet.

You can get a good fever from AIDS.

Or stick it under hot water...
But when it reads 120 degrees your parents will know what's up haha.

Well i think that if you stay outside without a coat on, you will likely get it. But i think that you will get a flu also. Doing this may not heal over one day you may have to stay home for like a week. But i don't think it a wise thing to do.

You're out of luck kid. It doesn't work that way.

Be greatful you're healthy and go to school.

If you're desperate, find a sick kid at school and kiss them (with tongue); if you're really unlucky you might get sick in two or three weeks.

If you are not being watched, hold the thermometer in your tightly closed fist, or put it in-between your closed legs.

Works everytime.
