is somewhat scary. Many feel that they have the God-given right to force their brand of morality on others...how is that allowing free will and true salvation? Do these people even read the Bible?
Matt 7:5 "Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye."
I am telling you, God will know you less than all the "sinner's" you are constantly judging, degrading and damning to hell. Jesus hung out with the so called "dregs" of society and loved them with mercy and without judgement...why does that not happen with so many of you anymore? Love without judgement, that's what Jesus asks of us...why are you missing the point?
Jesus wept.

Yeah, I guess you are right it is here...but they aren't blowing that many people up (yet), haven't seen an abortion clinic bombing in a while or a Christian form of sharia law.
And yes, I have seen the 700 club...it makes me cringe.

I saw a documentary called "Friends of God"...Ted Haggard (hypocrite) is in it...pretty creepy how they act, and the power that these types are gaining....I'll have to check out "Jesus Camp".

Scifi...yes Jesus was mad at that activity occuring in a TEMPLE, that was the issue. Next time you go to a church retreat and you are pressured to buy this book and that CD...think about what Jesus thought about that activity occuring in a church. Why can't people even get the obvious? Seriously.

militant "Christianity" already exists. However, if Christians were truly "extremists", then it wouldn't be anything like islamic extremism.
If Christians (meaning "little Christ") truly understood the concepts of Christianity, then extremism after that concept would be extreme love, extreme service, extreme meekness, extreme selflessness. I have actually met extremist Christians, who are truly this kind of extremist.
however, the militant "Christian" is a walking contradiction. The crusades, the spanish inquisition, and abortion clinic bombings are all examples of this militant attitude, but none of them share any attributes with Christ or His church.
apparently there is a sect of militant Christians on this site, hypocritically attacking those who feel differently. those people need to know that they are nothing like the Christ whose name they so readily claim.
good question. thank you.

There is nothing wrong with spreading the gospel, but if one doesn't do it in a Christ like way, then it's a problem. However remember that He even told the woman at the well her sin when he said, the man that you are with now, is not your husband. So, don't think that just because someone points out someone else's sin they are judging. A man can only be accused of that if he believes himself to be perfect and looks down on anothers sin. There are many on here who don't believe they are perfect at all and just want others to know the seriousness of their need for God.

I'm not making judgements, degrading,or damning to hell, but I am not going to pretend that sin is okay.
Honestly, some people on here don't seem to have an education.

Jesus never judged anyone.
That's why he never overturned the tables of the moneylenders at the temple in Jerusalem.
...
Oops! I think you got that wrong.
Jesus accepted those who came to him, begged for forgiveness, and changed their lives. He didn't accept those who continued doing things he believed to be wrong.
...
I might agree with some of your sentiment at the beginning, but that third paragraph is utter nonsense.

I'm not sure what you mean by is militant Christianity next. The past is militant Christianity, and there are plenty of them around now as well. Take a look at the KKK and militias.

Sadly, more atheists on here have actually read the whole bible than so called christians on here. Most christians who are stupidly mean on here are cowards who only parrot what their ignorant preacher tells them to and they wouldn't dare stand up and say the things they do here in public.

What a headache that would be. There's enough militant crap around in this world already. God doesn't force people to conform; He gave us free will to choose. Who am I to compel someone if He does not?
