i have been talking to a guy online and on the phone for about a year. i really love him. he lives in virginia and i live in colorado. we have never met in person. well today he asked me to marry him. i told him i couldnt say 100% yes until we meet. well now he isnt talking to me. what should i do. i love him more than life itself. i dont want to loose him.

i think thats immature that he's not talking to you because of your answer....thats how u feel right now and he should still hold respect for you whether its the answer hes looking for or not....and a relationship on the phone/internet is completely different compared to a physical one with actual interaction so i understand why you feel that way....you need to go with your gut and do whats right for u even if that means him not getting his way for right now

well im going to say you guys dont really love each other. if he loved you like he said he did he would still be talking to you. most of the time they are way different in person then on the phone and computer. I have ment a couple of people from off of here and they are far from what they were on the computer and phone. and why should you fly to him he should fly to you. if he asked you to marry him he should be going to you. not the other way around and you dont ask someone that over the phone or computer sorry. Im sorry but this dude sounds like a head case to me. got mad because you couldnt say 100% yes. give me a brake. and meeting one time dont count for much either. his true colors hasnt shown yet. he sounds almost the controling type. i fill sure in person he would be. he has you where he wants you. alot of talk on his end and your falling for it. it's a game to him. if you really ment so much to him you all would have already ment. why wont he come to see you?

I don't understand the guy. How can he even expect you to give an answer? And how can he be so insensitive to ask before meeting you? And what s with asking someone to marry them over the phone? What is he 15 years old?

NONONO! you say you've never met him well how do you know hes not a 50 year old rapist hiding from the police? if you meet him in person and you still love him and hes not a 50 year old rapist then talk to friends and listen to your heart! goodluck!

dont say yes. listen. first you have to actually...you know...kiss and stuff. I mean, Im not trying to be a jerk...but you guys might act very differently in real life. first get to know him, then make your decision.
