Muhammad was THE PROPHET of Islam. The reason I say this, is so that stupid stupid ignorant apologists dont respond with "yea, well other people owned slaves too!!".

Muhammad wasnt the only person to ever own slaves. What he did do was make-up an entire religion and claim, in the book he made-up called the "Quran", that his (Muhammad's) every action was the very path to heaven.

So, the issue is NOT whether Muslims are the only people to ever own slaves. The issue IS whether a religion can be true or decent when it claims that OWNING SLAVES is holy and excellent conduct to be emulated for all eternity. Follow?

It should of course be no suprise that Islam is the greatest slave trading instution in all human history. Muslims created the first international slave trading routes (Sub Saharan) and showed the entire world, via trade, their african slave crop. In fact, but for Islam, its hard to imagine how Africans would have ever been exploited in such a commercial way.

owning slaves was a must at that time, to give order to stop it could create rebels, Muhammad PBUH had to purchase slaves to give example to free them. And this is what happened, when He gave example His people followed Him.

I see your point and I agree; however, neither the Old Testament, the New Testament or the Bible condemned slavery.
And remember, 'Las Casas' the Spanish Priest who protested slavery of the native Indians thought that enslaving blacks from Africa was a good thing.

It's not OK for anybody to own slaves. I don't care who did it--it's still wrong.

But think about it--other religions have been formed to excuse things people were doing. What about the Church of England? They went Protestant because Henry the Eighth wanted to divorce his wife and he wasn't allowed under Catholic rules.

What about Christianity? They wanted to eat pork and shrimp and unclean meat...so there's a verse about how there's nothing unclean anymore (like there was and still is in Judaism.)

Many cults form to proclaim they have new knowledge, which is sometimes ideas like multiple marriages, child sexual abuse, and isolation to exploit members and keep them from learning about the outside world (and wanting to escape.)

It's wrong...but it happens a lot. It's good to see you shining some light on the hypocrisy of Islam.

Most of the slaves he owned were prisoners of war.

One of his as you call him (Black slaves later on became his adopted son).

He refused to be set free to go home with his family. he decided to stay with the prophet and to reward his loyalty he made him his adopted son.

Do you remember Abrahams wife Sarai having a female slave?

Her name was Hagar.

And do you remember Abraham was around long before Muslims were?

Cause if you dont, you really need to go back and read some scripture.

BTW. Your question sounds so full of hate it made me cringe while I read it. Which is why am not going to even bother giving you a proper answer apart from telling you. You need to stop asking hateful questions.
