You see, it was one of the championship games this Saturday and we have lost all the games this whole season except we won 2, and tied 2. I'm the goalie, and my Coach calls me a natural goalie, which I'm proud of because I only started playing goalie a few weeks ago.Anyways,we have been working our butts off this whole season,we worked like a family. So I was in goal for the first tournament game, and I was praying to God..and I said "God,please just let us score one goal..one goal..I know they have 2 goals already but if we can score just one goal it will make us feel proud.I don't care if we win as long as we score a goal.." Sure enough,5-10 minutes later, our forwards[strikers] scored a goal. Our team was cheering and I was standing there in shock. It's the first time God has ever answered a prayer for me.Do you truly believe that God answered my prayer?

I believe in the law of possabilitiesand posative thought., using energies in a posative way. thought, can be powerful, when backed by your faith that it can happen, and using your mental energies to send out that thought. as the saying goes...God helps those who help themselves...they just don't tell us how to go about it. If you keep posative thoughts, good things are more than likely to happen.. this, backed with the fact that you did not ask to win, but simply to score was a desire without greed which betters the possibility of the desire happening. or...if you truely believe in God, and ask a prayer without greed, yes, God is more likely to answer "yes" to your prayer

Yeah, of course, because nobody has ever scored a goal in a football match before, have they? Million to one chance. You've convinced me.

i'm sorry to say, but i don't think God answered ur prayer. God doesn't play favorites. he doesn't cheer for one team or the other. did u win? if u didn't, then God must hav answered the prayer of someone on the other team too that might of prayed for God to help them win, see wat i'm saying? everyone thinks God is on their side when he isn't on anyones side at all.
