Tell him what your other doctor gave you, bring the bottle up there because he needs to know what is working for you and what is not. And it's antibiotics.

truly than going to an ER the place you will incurr outrageous expenses while you sit down for 10 hours in an overcrowded waiting room, discover an "pressing Care" middle. those have docs and nurses on team which could prescribe meds - you prefer antibiotics. It sound as in case you had a UTI that unfold. while tehy prescribe some thing, ask wheth erthey have med samples (loose!) or no remember if or no longer they'd specify that generics are ok - the cost distinction is important. you will discover pressing care centers with the aid of Yahoo telephone e book. interior the period in-between, drink lots of water.

Your past medical history (treatments whether they worked or not) is part of regular exam and it's another clue doctors use to make diagnosis. Also, he may prescribe same medication that didn't work for you in the past if you do not. You need to be 100% open with your medical information. It's protected by privacy act and you do not need to worry about it going out of clinic. There's many good reasons to share your past medical history and no good reason to not share.
Good luck with your cough. 4 months...whew.that's pretty hardy...

Definitely tell the doctor that you saw another doctor previously AND that he prescribed antibiotics. It can help this doctor figure out what's wrong and he won't prescribe the same medicine to give you. Tell the doctor your symptoms and everything mentioned before...he needs to know everything so he can give you treatment based on all this.

I would mention it to him, just so he'll know that the medication isnt working for you, and you need something else.
