What kind of cookie dough did you make?

For some kinds, you would have needed to adjust the amount of flour (usually less than what the recipe calls for), so you may not be able to do this.

It's usually a good idea to plan ahead before making the dough.

EDIT:

Okay, for chocolate chip cookies, you can make a pan cookie using the dough you've prepared. Grease a 15x10 jelly roll pan (or a deep cookie sheet, if you don't have a jelly roll pan). Do not bake in anything larger than 15x10. The dough needs to be thickly rolled out or it will just burn. Bake at 375 for 20-25 minutes. It should be golden-brown when it comes out. I recommend using the second to top rack for this so you do not scorch the bottom. When it is done, cool it in the pan. You can take it out once it is completely cooled.

What would you use cookie cut-outs for if you wanted to make a GIANT cookie? I'm confused.

If you want to make a giant one, put the cookie dough on a layer of plastic wrap. Then put another layer of plastic wrap on top of the cookie dough. Then take a big pot or skillet, and use the bottom of it to press down on the cookie dough, squeezing it outward into a giant cookie shape.

Before you do that, put the plastic wrap on it and spray the plastic wrap with non-stick cooking spray. Spray the sides that will touch the cookie dough, so you can easily peel off the plastic.

When your cookie is flattened, peel off the top layer of plastic, and invert the cookie onto the baking sheet you will be using. Then tear the other layer of plastic off. That way you don't have to try picking up the cookie and breaking it.

I don't know how long or what temperature to bake it for. I would probably take 50 degrees of the recommended temperature for the cookies, plus I'd give it a little bit longer. Keep an eye on it.

Just roll the dough out to a giant size.
