I like having borders. I just wish they were guarded.

The Olympics would be really fun because no matter which athlete won, everybody in the stadium and watching tv at home would be cheering like mad.

OTOH, the US is becoming like a meeting place for the world and I still cannot fathom the multitudes of ppl (some in their 20s and 30s) who want to live in the US without speaking any English at all (not even broken English). I can excuse the 90 y.o. grannies who might be too old to learn English but a 25 y.o. should know some English. Speaking Spanish doesn't always help as many of the foreigners are not Spanish speaking ppl.

Yes indeed, but we couldn't go abroad on holiday any more and we wouldn't be able to moan about bloody foreigners either! ;-)
