Yesterday I was reading through a magazine and I saw an add for a men's cologne, one by David Beckham. It is called Instinct. Anyway, I got so sick that I threw up.

I didn't believe it, so about two hours when I felt well again, I smelled it again. Then I felt so nauseous that I had to rest. Eventually I went to sleep because the nauseau got so bad. I could barely get the smell out of my nose.

I heard that were thinking of putting men's sweat and pheremones in cologne and I wondered if it was related to that.

Has anyone had a similar experience?

To peachiepie, I have noticed today my stomach is tender maybe from throwing up. I feel better today. That is very interesting how you acquired allergies. I did not think that maybe it is an allergy. I have developed asthma recently. I used to get migraines when I was younger. No headache with this nausea, but it was a very bad episode. It felt like I was spinning until I finally went to sleep. Do you have any links? Thank you for your answer.

Yes I have because I am hypersensitive to so many things including odors! Certain smells have always made me nauseous like tobacco, certain cologues, foods, even some people have particular body odors that give me symptons most would associate with a real bad migraine. You may have recently become allergic to somethings you had not noticed before. The older I got the more things I became allergic to.
When I was younger I could wear costume jewelry with no problem, I could eat shrimps and drink milk without hives or stomach troubles, not now. Have you noticed any other symptons lately?

Yes I have had an experience similar to this one. So I'm sitting in class listening to some lecture about how Colombus did not actually discover the US land when my friend Wilbert walks past me. Wilbert, by the way, always smells like he dumped the whole bucket of cologne on his head that morning , yea but anyways so first I begin to sneeze and then came the stomach aches. It seems to me I only get that sick feeling from cologne though if I haven't eating anything in a while. Otherwise I'm fine, and Wilbert is able to walk right past me freely.

The problem is your allergic to something in the making of the cologne, so don't smell it anymore. I would tear it off and throw it away. But it's a normal allergic reaction your having, it's normal.
