I was just in Costa Rica, where I got over 100 bites. There were a couple of people in our group who didn't get bitten at all. Some were local, some were not. Is it something in their diet? Smoking? Drugs? Blood type?

They drove me crazy!

Bugs are attracted to smell and people smell different some people take different med's as well and they change the way you smell and for some reason they go after fair skinned light haired or red heads more then other people and if you are allergic to them they will go after you some people say that they get some thing different from them and people who and diabetic are good targets because there blood sugars are higher and there for smell sweeter. And if you are a type of person that eats allot of sweet food ever fruit or fruit juice.

And perfume and Colon and skin cream and deodorant and even the shampoo, hair spray, or hair products can attract them.

And finely they are attracted by body heat and a person body heat can range from 95*F to 99*F and still be normal for the bugs tend to go after the warmest person

A natural way to get the bugs to stop biting is to take brewers yeast for an adult take 1000 mg twice a day and it is a good source of B vitamins

And you can give this to your pets and it Will keep away all kinds of bugs even flees and flees need blood to reproduce so when they stop biting they will die after one cycle and the adults only live for about a month

As what I certainly have familiar, mosquitoes locate their host via seen, thermal, and olfactory stimuli-via sight, warmth, and popularity of carbon dioxide excreted from the exterior. Carbon dioxide could be known via a mosquito as much as 150 five feet away. that's believed that those with super physique mass excrete greater carbon dioxide subsequently would be greater favorable to mosquitoes. Heavier definitely everyone seems to be bitten greater advantageous than skinny to boot. So with the physique mass, there are a number of plenty greater advantageous around than the infant. darkish colored outfits is an attractant as antagonistic to easy colored outfits. Soaps, cologne, and creams could additionally attraction to mosquitoes. i've got faith adults used enhanced scented soaps, cologne and creams that grew to alter into fairly "alluring" to mosquitoes. fairly some the mosquito repellers are no longer that efficient. it might confer an exceedingly short consequence and then the mosquito would not strategies it.

all of the above! people all smell different to critters like bugs - we all have different diets and habits, people who drink lots of soda and eat a lot of sugar or fruit will smell sweeter and attract buggies. Also if you were wearing anything like hairspray or cologne, they will single you out of a crowd of thousands!
