dont ask a bunch of questions. youll end up making her do all the talking.
why dont you share stories, funny or friendly type of stories.
as a few questions, but dont go out and put all the pressure on her to keep answering your questions about her hobbies or favorite colors.

What do you want to know about her?

Just ask open-ended questions that let her talk all she wants about what is probably her favorite subject, herself, and you'll be fine.

Like this.

You: That dress looks great on you, where'd you buy it?

Her: [random talking noises] try to pick something out of here that leads to your next question like...

You: Oh, do you shop there alot? I bet that's why you're so trendy.

Her: [the "conversation" probably heads to shoes at this point. This is dangerous ground because you probably don't know alot about shoes. It gets a little harder, but the same rule applies]

You: I think you really have a way with words. You made [whatever she was talking about] sound so interesting! I can't wait to hear about your other interests. (you can even mix it up by suggesting one of her more obvious interests.)

Lather, Rinse, Repeat until she's talked about herself so much that she feels like you really "get" her. Now this is important, you actually have to pay a little attention to keep the questions going during the date, and for a follow up the next time you see her and want to strike up conversation.

If she asks about you, don't panic and start stammering like an idjut. Answer her question truthfully, succiently, and cooly and simultaneously segue back to something about her.

Girls like it when guys smile and talk about thing they have in common. Just smile and start the conversation by asking her about her day, and something you are very interested in, and can have a conversation about. Small chit-chat will turn into a conversation without the awkward moments, so talk about sports, plans for the rest of the weekend, music, movies, and hobbies. Make sure to laugh and not become to serious. You want a fun environment, and everything should turn out fine! Good Luck!

basically,
let the girl talk about herself.
it's our favorite past time

but don't be scared to share some about yourself.

ask about her family. and what she wants out of life. it can lead to many different conversations.

don't plan out what you are going to say too much. you will seem awkward and the best thing is to be comfortable. trust me it will make your date comfortable too.
