The redness covers an area the size of a small button on the front right tip of my nose. The outside of my nose is very sensitive to touch. It hurts when any pressure is applied. This is the third occurence like this I have had. I originally thought they were zits, but it seems that the problem is coming from inside my nose. It seems to be some kind of recurring irritaion or infection but I am no doctor. Any help as to identifying this or getting rid of it would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds to me like a very deep pimple. I've had those numerous times on my chin and lip. But, I can't see it so I don't know for sure. If it keeps persisting in the same spot you might want to check with a dermatologist to be sure.
