Walk right up to the one that takes your fancy and say:
"Hi, my name is [insert your dumb moniker here]. When I saw you from over there, my crotch-o-meter started beeping like crazy. Is there anything I can do or say or, worst case scenario, buy you that will make you at a later date (but hopefully not too long, else I'll be offski) drop your knickers? I realise that we have to play this charade of civility, but when it comes right down to it, we are governed by our urges and right now my urge is saying 'YUM'!"
Then when she slaps you and throws her drink over you while the whole room laughs at your pitiful presence, you can whimper pathetically:
"But...but...I thought women always wanted us to be honest?"
For more tips like this, you may wish to be put on the waiting list for my soon to be published: 'The Honesty Lie - Why Women Want You To Say What They Want To Hear And Not The Truth, Even Though They Say Differently'. I'm making it a coffee table book... you know, it's the only way I can fit the effing title on the cover!

Great question: Like most people said, just act normal. If the girl is super hot, you have to work extra hard at acting normal because you are so distracted by her looks. Don't ask too many questions without talking a little about yourself. Don't compliment too much or it will creep her out. However, be honest. If she is stunningly beautiful, tell her. "You are stunningly beautiful, and I just came over to tell you that." THEN have a normal conversation. One of my good friends got a girlfriend by saying the following, not in a sarcastic or joking way, but in an honest way:
"Woah! People told me you had huge t*ts, but I didn't know they were that big!" He just honestly spoke what was on his mind. They were shagging within hours.
Oh, yeah. Always go for it even if you are shaking in your boots. Just that you got up the nerve to talk to her will give you so much confidence that you may even win her over.
Good luck!

Dress nice, smell good, and say what girls want to hear. guys that think they always need to say the truth became rude and they don't do well in relationships. the truth is that most of girls are looking for genuine guys that make them feel good, but of course there are some girls that like to be treated as garbage too. I think you just need to be yourself and make sure that you have a great sense of humor and show confidence. It doesn't matter how you look, it matter that you have confidence in yourself. Good luck!

Really, it's as simple as starting a regular conversation. Talk about a teacher or a homework assignment. This is something that girls are more that anxious to talk about, since about 90% of them live to gossip. The other 10% do it in their free time, but could probably survive without it. But I don't suggest gossiping with them. Girls think it's weird when guys gossip.

Being a gentleman is a good way to go. comeing off as this bad *** suave person can sometimes be a turn off. The main thing though is SELF CONFIDENCE. Confidence screams alot about a person. And if you feel the need to use a pick up line, say it in a joking tone, then introduce yourself as a gentleman. Humor can be a good way to get things rollin. I once had someone come up to me and say'd "your hott can I be your cabana boy" at first I was a little shocked, dumbfounded, and he laughed and I laughed and then hey politely said Hi I'm Josh. And that was the beggining of the best year of my life.

Well the thing that makes me "tick" is a gentleman. And just say hello or something but there is no way for a guy to come up to a girl and just start talking to them if you guys arent friends

Well start the conversation with a realistic complement, that would put anyone in a good mood to chat.
I dont like it when guys compare me to other cute girls to flatter me. Or when they make extremely dumb and offensive pick up lines. Basically be a gentlemen and she will give you the time of day.

Well, hmmmm.... all I can tell you is don't use stupid pick up lines.... for example.... " Did it hurt" did what hurt "when you fell from heaven cause you shure look like an angel to me"...ok thats going a little too far. Treat her like a lady open doors, pull out her chair, and bring her roses. Just treat her how you would like her to treat you and you will do just fine good luck and god bless

I love when guys aren't too shy to come talk to me. When a guy is confident enough to just come say hello, or something simple, I am impressed. Compliments help too :] Just don't make it sound too stalker sounding.
