I dont know how much time you have to spend but if you have the time.....take him or her out every half hour for the entire day. This way they will know that outside is the place to go not inside.

House train your puppy. It takes time and patience. Take your puppy out every few hours or when it seems like it needs to go. Reward it for good behavior outside. But if you catch your dog in the act in side the house, just scold in a harsh tone. Don't punish it if you find out afterwards, the dog will not know why you are punishing him! Keep encouraging him to pee and poo outside, and eventually, he will know.

It may take months and even years to get a dog to be fully house trained, be patient!

Every time your dog pees in the house simply don't talk and pick him up and put him in a crate. Don't let him see you clean up his "accident", it's a psychological thing. Don't talk or give the dog any attention. He'll then think that he could pee and immediately get attention.

It's really simple, take it for a walk outside 2 or 3 times a day.

Take him outside several times a day, especially if he is a puppy. You can buy little vials of puppy housebreaking aid at petsmart and similar stores, and I have had good luck with those.

Kennel the little booger. He won't want to pee or poo where he sleeps. Then just take him outside when you first let him out of the kennel.
