y legs ache and hurt with pain..sort of..they feel like they're really worn out. This is because I ran a lot in gym today and played a lot of basketball. Any advice to get rid of the pain? I don't have time to fall asleep right now. How would ice do?

Yes, cold will help a lot, but ice won't cover the area. So run a tub of cold water, just enough to cover your legs, and ease yourself into it. Stay there maybe 15-20 minutes.

Then when you get out and towel off, do the usual runner's stretches for another 10-15 minutes, especially hamstrings.

Gentleman rest is the best treatment.
Roll round pen or any such thing over middle finger of both hands or feet on all sides with pressure. Pain will minimise.
Heating with hot brick or sand after massage will help.
Never strain muscles beyond limit. Have a habit of regular workout.
