Since Jeconiah is listed in the genealogy of Yeshua, and the curse of Jeconiah excludes ANY of his descendants from ruling on the throne of David, then Yeshua cannot be the Messiah.
This is why we are provided the second set of genealogy in Math and Luke.
"As I live," says YHVH, "though Coniah the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, were the signet ring on My right hand, yet I would pluck you off; and I will give you into the hand of those who seek your life, and into the hand of those whose face you fear - the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and the hand of the Chaldeans. So I will cast you out, and your mother who bore you, into another country where you were not born; and there you shall die. But to the land to which they desire to return, there they shall not return. "Is this man Coniah a despised, broken idol - A vessel in which is no pleasure? Why are they cast out, he and his descendants, And cast into a land which they do not know? O earth, earth, earth, Hear the word of YHVH! Thus says YHVH: 'Write this man down as childless, A man who shall not prosper in his days; For none of his descendants shall prosper, Sitting on the throne of David, And ruling anymore in Judah.' "

I believe that you are referring to the last King of Judah. And he is the reason that Jesus had to be born of a virgin.
Since Joseph was a direct decedent of the last king of Judah, he could pass along David's title. Since the curse was upon Jehoiakim's bloodline (literally, his "offspring"), and Joseph was Jesus' stepfather, not a blood relative, then Jesus did not inherent the curse.
---------------------------------------------------
"As surely as I live," declares the LORD, "even if you, Jehoiachin son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, were a signet ring on my right hand, I would still pull you off. I will hand you over to those who seek your life, those you fear—to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and to the Babylonians. I will hurl you and the mother who gave you birth into another country, where neither of you was born, and there you both will die. You will never come back to the land you long to return to."
Is this man Jehoiachin a despised, broken pot,
an object no one wants?
Why will he and his children be hurled out,
cast into a land they do not know?
O land, land, land,
hear the word of the LORD!
This is what the LORD says:
"Record this man as if childless,
a man who will not prosper in his lifetime,
for none of his offspring will prosper,
none will sit on the throne of David
or rule anymore in Judah."
~The Prophet Jeremiah 22:24-30 (NIV)

Put another way, Jesus could inherent the title "King of the Jews" without inherenting the curse on Jehoiakim's bloodline.

The Bible says nothing about Jeconiah being cursed. It just says that he was the king of Judah for 3 months before being carried away with the exiles to Babylon.
Also, in the NIV, his name is translated as "Jehoiachin"
Edit: Ah, after seeing the previous two posts, I guess he was cursed after all.

Jesus was born with out a earthly father. Sin is accounted to the fathers blood line thus Jesus had not curse or sin accounted to him. When he suffered the cross, He came accursed that is another think all togeither. He took our curse upon himself. But it was not his curse it was our curse.
