School dance coming up, HELP!?

Question

Ok, so this is my first dance ever (I'm in middle school) and I'm super nervous! I've got a couple of specific questions below. PLEASE help me!!!!
1. I really like this guy, but if another guy asks me to dance should I say yes?
2. I'm not the best dancer, so what do I do to improve on my dancing skills?
3. What do you do at a dance besides dance?
4. Should I ask the guy I like to dance? (Please see my other question that I have about him!)
5. How can I turn down a guy (kindly) that I don't really like if he asks me to dance?
And any other helpful tips would be GREAT!

About #1 (dancing with a guy, even though I like someone else):
What if I don't really know the guy (I know his name, but that's it)?
What if he's in some of my classes?
What if I have no clue who he is?

oh i love dances so much! you're gonna have a lot of fun!

1. if another guy asks you to dance, and you guys are friends, go for it! but dont repeatedly dance with him or the boy you like will get discouraged.
2.if you mean fast dance, before the dance, blast the radio and get yourself pumped! if youre in the mood, you can dance so much better. as for slow dancing, just go with the flow. its easier than it sounds, follow his lead, and put your arms around his neck and let him but his hands around your waist. if youre comfortable, you can press yourself up against him
3. at a dance, you dance, talk, and hang out with your friends, sometimes snacks and drinks are available too.
4. wait for him to ask you to dance for a few songs, and if he doesnt, talk to him before the next song, just talk, usually hell interject and say "hey, you wanna dance?" when a slow song comes on. if even then he doesnt ask, you suggest casually, "wanna dance?"
5. turn down a guy by saying "maybe later, im not really in the mood now", if youre planning on dancing with someone else say "soandso already asked me"
