I told a good girl friend of many years that I like her, but I cannot date anyone at the moment. She said she just wanted to be friends anyway, but she wants our friendship to grow. Well...we have tremendous "chemistry", and we have are now really close as friends. I feel like I cannot live without her in my life, and I am considering asking her out. Did she want this??

YES! Totally ask her out. If you have "chemistry", then things will probably work out between you two. And you already hang around her as a friend, why not be more than that? Go ahead and ask her out, you'll feel loads better. :)

maybe your friend chose the only way that can make your relationship last,which is your friendship,maybe she likes you too but shes only afraid that one day she might fall out,if that happened,you will be mad to each other,also you deserve to be her friend not to be her boyfriend,but if you are destined for each other sooner or later or one day,she will be the one who will do the first move and will ask you the same thing..you can never tell,i only advise you to keep your friendship strong,take care of what you have for now,real friends stays forever til you get older,just keep it up,and if you really love your her just wait until she will fall inlove with you,,and be thankful for having her in your life even though it didnt work out,and that's good that you are close,,you can really get to know each other.And,asking her out is not a bad idea,its normal for friends going out together,like friendly date,just dont take advantage when you're together be gentleman and respect her decisions,thats life,and keep praying,why dont you ask God to give her to you forever?believe me if you're really sincere and GOd can feel and see whats inside your heart He wont hesitate to give you the things you are askin for,God always listen to our prayers,but its not with a blink of an eye of giving you the answers for every prayer you ask,He's lookin for the right time when and where to answer your prayers,you just have to wait,and hold on to Him.

when a girl says we should be just friends, she is right, dont force the issue past that you are going to push her away, go to some movies take her out to dinner without all that sex stuff, she just wants to see the real you thats all, then if a relationship starts you to will know each other, how to talk to each other and just have fun, good luck,

It is possible that she feels comfortable around you and yes it could be possible that she would like to go out with you to see if anything happens. you know the best relationships start out as friends. This could lead to great relationship.
