At this time of the year, it is very cold where i live. My face has been very dry and windburnt because i run in the cold. What can i do, (besides wear a mask) to protect my facial skin while i run and help restore it back to normal. I prefer doing something that is "all natural." Are there any herbal remedies i could try?

The best thing to do is make sure you are drinking at least 64 ounces of water a day to keep your skin hydrated. Also, make sure you are using a good facial moisturizer before you head out into the cold, use a gentle facial cleanser when bathing and make sure you moisturize every day after bathing as well. This will heal your skin in no time.

If worse comes to worse and you don't have sensitive skin, use petrolium jelly on your cheeks where your skin gets the driest, it will really help.

Other than that - I'd invest in a ski mask or wear a scarf when you run. Good luck!

ski goggles, you may get very gentle-coloration ones that are unlike "colours", simply by fact some people love evening skiiing, (the snow is plenty extra acceptable then, yet that is yet another tale..) for conserving your nostril and sinuses, and trachea and bronchii, placed on a sparkling scarf which covers your mouth and nostril, and breath with the aid of it, It holds lots of the moisture and physique warmth from once you exhale, and that warms and moistens the incoming air once you inhale. i've got jogged at less warm than minus 30 very truly and grew to alter into extra healthful than in the previous. constantly use a sparkling dry scarf once you initiate out. in case you get too heat, you may slide it down, in case you get too chilly, slide it lower back over your mouth and nostril. Its an exceedingly valuable answer. Your genuine challenge would be coping with warmth and chilly, extra bodyheat from workout, and sweat which nature designed to kick back us down, and the chilly air exterior. in case you place on some thing too heat, you will sweat extra and probably get too chilly. in case you do no longer placed on heat sufficient stuff, then you will purely be chilly no remember what. Its a balancing act, you may would desire to test with different layers of different fabric. purely make valuable its breathable, so which you do no longer capture too plenty physique warmth and sweat. additionally, its ultimate to jog at a sluggish %., and constantly, extra acceptable non-quit, for extra consistent stability of warmth and heat loss, so which you will no longer sprint and overheat and sweat, then decelerate / walk and freeze.
