Think of it this way... gravity is just a theory, but we all know it's true. Evolution may be a theory, but most of us still know it's true. God, is another story, it is a counter theory, that we should all know is fake, if we all had common sense, too bad most of us are brainwashed by the thought of god.

I agree with Monkey. Most theists educated on the subject believe that evolution did occur with God guiding it. Look how far we've evolved! I think it's rather miraculous. If the Big Bang occurred, it's really an accomplishment on God's part. There are trillions of galaxies, solar systems, stars and planets, and many believe that nature could not have done it unaided.
Others believe the story of Adam and Eve was merely an example or a metaphor to show what happens when you are disobedient.

Yuri you through a hail mary question out there didn't you! The best answer you can be given to a question like that, is follow your heart and intstint. Go watch the movie "What the bleep do we know anyway?" It does a good job of trying to make scense of how we perceive reality. It explains that you have to power to manifest your own reality. But have faith in yourself. I am not saying that God doesn't exist, but I heard once, and it stuck with me, "The height of errogance is the height of control, those who create God in their own image." Ponder on that, watch the movie, have faith in yourself, and your instincts, protect those who cannot protect themselves, and live your life as selfless as you can. And you know what: You will not have to worry about a thing when if you die, you stand before the true GOD, you have lived your life the best you can.

No proof for evolution? I think you're perhaps a bit unclear as to the actual definition of 'proof'. Or perhaps they way that evolution works. (If you've gotten your version from creationists, you're wrong.)
Evolution is pretty well sorted proof-wise. We're just working out specific details now, but that's the way science goes.

God is true. And He didn't use evolution. In Genesis it says days.
Genesis 1:5
"God called the light "day," and the darkness he called "night." And there was evening, and there was morning—the first DAY."
Genesis 1:8
"God called the expanse "sky." And there was evening, and there was morning—the second DAY."
Genesis 1:13
"And there was evening, and there was morning—the third DAY."
You may believe what you want to believe about the word DAY. But the same Hebrew word is used througout the whole Old Testament and it always means DAYS.
And don't let anyone tell you there's "overwhelming proof" for evolution. I've yet to see any. Except Micro-Evolution, that occurs everyday. But that isn't proven to lead to Macro-Evolution. Nothing about Evolution is proven. Creation isn't proven either, but there is actually evidence which supports it. Here's some links:

There is proof for evolution, we are here today because of evolution. All biological life on this planet, from slimemold, to trees and animals are proof of evolution.
God exists only in the minds of the believers.

Both are true, but that does not make the two possibilities equally likely. The preponderance of evidence for evolution is staggering, making it an extreme candidate for being valid. The evidence for god is non existent, even after 2000 years of searching, making it an extreme candidate for not being valid.

personally I think that if you ask a Christian (such as myself) they'd say there is indeed proof of God's existence. I see it in the forest and the flowers, mountain vistas, and the clouds on the ocean horizon.sunrises and sunsets. There is also proof of evolution in nature, in my opinion this is part of God's plan and His work. My life, where it was before I had God, and where it is now, with Him, is proof to me.

There is proof for evolution, there's no proof for god. Ignoring the proof for evolution isn't making you look any more intelligent when you say this type of thing.

There is an abundance of evidence which supports evolution.
Unfortunately, there is no evidence that supports the existence of God. If you want to believe in God, you must be willing to accept his/her/its existence on faith alone.
However, belief in God and the process of evolution are not mutually exclusive. You can easily believe in both without getting yourself into any kind of philosophical conundrum.

All evolution does not necessarily have to disprove god... perhaps when God created the earth there was a big bang... when he created animals perhaps they crawled for the sea he created... No one knows how God did it... but i think even the theory of evolution needs the support of an all powerful creator to really make since! Can I add that Darwins original theory of evolution was made to prove that whites are more superior than blacks... its started out as something to perpetuate racism, and to call blacks monkeys... So thats what leads me no to believe humans evolved from gorillas... Maybe God just thought Apes were cool... Something to keep balance in the Animal kingdom!
