I am going to assume your in the hell hole they call high school. Well I think your Friends are wrong. Just because you date a guy that is not popular doesn't mean you won't be. It will rise his popularity. I think you should go for him and see how it goes. If you don't go for it you WILL regret it later because Hun trust me life goes on after school. Just go with your heart and don't look back. I have been in the same place you have and you know what...after a comment here and there nothing changed in my status.

Ok I know how that is cause people are gonna tell you " being popular isnt everything and you shouldnt care what they think." but it totally matters because its all anbout your social life and if your not popular your a loser and everyone laughs at you when u walk down the halls. They also might say "if they make you choose between popular and a guy you like they arent ur friends cause they dont want you to be happy. But if you think he will and hes not just a fling dont ruin your friendship, and if you really like him a suggest follow your heart. DO what you think would be best but it will take time to think about it.

Popularity isnt everything. Let me ask you this: Are you willing lose a guy or relationship over what other people think and say about you? If people are really your friends then they will treat and respect you the same way they always have no matter how you date.

Sounds like you've got some judgemental, b****y friends. Being popular isnt everything. Try having fun instead of being the "it" girl. You'll appreciate it more when you look back 15 years down the road.

Oh for goodness sakes, who cares what your friends think? If they can't except your boyfriend just because he's not popular, then they're not your friends. Besides, it has been my experience that unpopular guys know better how to treat a girl.

shouldn't you be more worried about the fact that you're pregnant? (yeah, i read your other questions). you're obviously not mature enough to see past popularity contests so you probably aren't mature enough to be in a relationship thus negating how cute he is as if that's the standard of judging people. either way you should let him know your pregnant.

It is not about being popular.......it's about following your heart. People who strive to be and stay popular tend to be very shallow. Who cares what everyone else thinks? You need to concern yourself about you, and not anyone's opinion of you and who you date. Tell them they need to grow up and get a life.
