1 lb. shrimp
4 Tbs. butter
2 Tbs. olive oil
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. minced garlic
1 Tbs. chopped parsley

Bring water in a large pot to a boil. While waiting for the water to boil, peel shrimp. Rinse the shrimp and blot dry with paper towels.

Melt butter and olive oil in the pan. Add about 2 teaspoons of minced garlic and 1/4 teaspoon salt (if using unsalted butter). Stir over medium-low heat until the garlic is lightly browned.

Add shrimp, cook over low or medium heat. When the shrimp color changes and the flesh touching the pan is no longer translucent (about two minutes), flip the shrimps over with a pair of tongs or spatula.

Meanwhile, when the linguine is cooked to the desired level, pour the pasta into a collander to drain. Return the pasta to the pot or into a large bowl. When the second side of the shrimp is fully cooked (another two minutes), throw in one tablespoon chopped parsley and give it a quick stir. Remove from the heat and pour shrimp and butter over the pasta. Toss and serve with fresh grated parmesan, ground black pepper, and a slice of lemon.

Yuo can make pasta Aglio Olio.
It's basically the 'fried rice' of pasta.
The basic ingredients are garlic, pasta and olive oil
then you can add anything thing else you like
as long as it won't over power the garlic and olive oil.

You can throw all your ingredients in there
and it will turn out great with enough garlic and herbs.

I'd recommend putting white wine in there if you wanted
but it's not really necessary but since you have wine,
just drink it!
It's a pretty eye-ballin' recipe,
just keep adding stuff until you think it's to your liking.
I'll post a recipe i found just in case
but don't fret if you don't have some of the ingredients
cuz it'll be ok without them as well.

Good luck

If you can get your hands on some broccoli - you can have shrimp & broccoli pasta. Very simple, but really good.
Steam broccoli
Saute shrimp in olive oil with a little garlic & onion
Cook angel hair pasta per package directions, drain and add a little olive oil, italian seasoning and grated parmesan cheese
Combine above items (when each is done cooking) and voila - a great shrimp and pasta recipe! Easy!

one million) combination the juice of a lemon, one tablespoon of olive oil, slightly salt and pepper and a teaspoon of your well-known curry powder (curry powders are all diverse so adjust to style.) Grill for some seconds on the two factors in a warm pan (ideally with a heavy backside) till purple and purely corporation. Sprinkle with a splash extra lemon juice and serve. Yummy! 2) Get shrimp with the shells on. After 10 minutes drain the inventory, deliver lower back to a simmer and upload a one million/2 tsp of dried tarragon and the shrimp. as quickly as a results of fact the shrimp are purple and corporation serve the soup. yet another yum!

1/4 cup olive oil
1 lb peeled and deveined large shrimp (raw; 20 to 25 per lb)
4 large garlic cloves, left unpeeled and forced through a garlic press
1/2 teaspoon dried hot red-pepper flakes
1/2 cup dry white wine
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
5 tablespoons unsalted butter
3/4 lb capellini (angel-hair pasta)
1/2 cup chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley

Bring a 6- to 8-quart pot of salted water to a boil.

Meanwhile, heat oil in a 12-inch heavy skillet over moderately high heat until hot but not smoking, then sauté shrimp, turning over once, until just cooked through, about 2 minutes, and transfer with a slotted spoon to a large bowl. Add garlic to oil remaining in skillet along with red pepper flakes, wine, salt, and pepper and cook over high heat, stirring occasionally, 1 minute. Add butter to skillet, stirring until melted, and stir in shrimp. Remove skillet from heat.

Cook pasta in boiling water until just tender, about 3 minutes. Reserve 1 cup pasta-cooking water, then drain pasta in a colander. Toss pasta well with shrimp mixture and parsley in large bowl, adding some of reserved cooking water if necessary to keep moist.

I assume you also have shrimp, since you are asking for a shrimp pasta recipe?!

Use any pasta w/ this dish, and use your basil and Italian seasoning in place of called-for seasonings here. Yummy!

Linguine with Shrimp Scampi

Vegetable oil
Kosher salt
3/4 pound linguine
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 1/2 tablespoons good olive oil
1 1/2 tablespoons minced garlic (4 cloves)
1 pound large shrimp (about 16 shrimp), peeled and deveined
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/3 cup chopped fresh parsley leaves
1/2 lemon, zest grated
1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (2 lemons)
1/4 lemon, thinly sliced in half-rounds
1/8 teaspoon hot red pepper flakes

Drizzle some oil in a large pot of boiling salted water, add 1 tablespoon of salt and the linguine, and cook for 7 to 10 minutes, or according to the directions on the package.

Meanwhile, in another large (12-inch), heavy-bottomed pan, melt the butter and olive oil over medium-low heat. Add the garlic. Saute for 1 minute. Be careful, the garlic burns easily! Add the shrimp, 1 1/2 teaspoons of salt, and the pepper and saute until the shrimp have just turned pink, about 5 minutes, stirring often. Remove from the heat, add the parsley, lemon zest, lemon juice, lemon slices, and red pepper flakes. Toss to combine.

When the pasta is done, drain the cooked linguine and then put it back in the pot. Immediately add the shrimp and sauce, toss well, and serve.
