Does your 4 main classes count (history,math,science, english) only or everything you take the whole year, such as art,spanish,home ec. (classes that are cocurricular)?

No, everything counts in your GPA. Everything counts, however when trying to get into colleges will most likely look at the 4 main classes.

Doesn't ALL classes count, since you are learning or remebering something, in that class? I have 6 classes, and my gpa is 3.833, becaus eof one B in math, so all classes count, not just the important ones. If the main ones only counted, then what's the point of taking the other subjects?

Pretty sure you don't get credits for homeroom or study hall (unless you go to a really bad school), but everything else counts. Motivation for showing up wouldn't be very high if there was no credit given.
