i need examples for these advertising techniques plzzzzzz
1. the suggestion that everyone's doing it (bandwagon)
2. the implication that figures and statistics prove a point beyond dispute (facts and figures)
3. the technique of complimenting the viewer(flattery)
4. the viewer must use the product to be popular, happy, etc (peer pressure)
5. The transfer of the qualities of an idea to another (transfer)

Wow I just did this in speech! We used smoking adds for bandwagon, because it only give you biased brief (most times inaccurate) info and the oxyclean commercials are proving to you that they work! Flattery is like "Your eyes are too perfect to trust to anyone..." and peer pressure is "Kate Bosworth is wearing lustrous lipstick, so should you!" Transfer is your kids could become rich and great athletes if they drink Capri sun sport beverages... there are some examples. I hope it helps!
