It's simple. Why? Because of "unbelief." I don't mind thinking for you, when you ask me to.
I don't visit any God's grave, because the God I serve is alive. It doesn't take feeling to know Him. It takes real examining of all available evidence, real thinking, real counting the cost of following Jesus, real testing of His promises for yourself (not just accepting what other people say), and real belief.
That goes far too deep into thinking for the likes of some folks (me included, at one point in my life). Keep seeking the truth, and you will eventually stumble upon Jesus and not be able to deny the truth that has been before your eyes all along. All this is still available for you too, even if you are a "thinker" like I claimed to be as well, at one point in my life.
I beg to differ, that it is those without Jesus who are empty, because except through Him, there is no way to have a real relationship with God. There is no way to have anything of lasting value. The only thing I "feel" is a sense of sadness for those struggling through this world without knowing Him and His friendship yet. But because of God's love, it is written, all who seek Him will find Him... and the only way to Him is Jesus Christ.
That is my opinion. I encourage you to seek the truth, if indeed you are a real thinker. Don't just accept what your parents or friends or culture tell you (I didn't). Don't just be rebellious and aim for the religion, or lack thereof, which will incense your family the most (I know some who have done this, and later regretted it).
Don't stop short of examining every piece of evidence and writing available to you. Don't stop short of asking God to reveal Himself to you in a real "thinker's" way, if He is really there, and if He really cares. (He does, I can assure you.) Don't just accept what the Web sites say. Get the texts in your hands. Dip your feet in the pool. Otherwise, you may prove yourself not much of a thinker.

LOL, because you are "too smart for your own good", Mr. empty dumpty.
God is beyond comprehension.
The "trinity" are aspects of God which He has revealed to mankind. Your grave could not be "1/3 of God".
Your assumption that believers are "feelers, not thinkers" is erroneous. We would probably respect your viewpoints if they were more factual about our beliefs and respectful.

Actually, you can visit Jesus' grave, although he's not there. It's the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem, believed to be the site of Jesus' burial cave.
And no, I never believed that atheists don't feel, any more than I believe that Christians and other believers don't think. Well, okay, some Christians don't think.
Paul said in 1 Corinthians 14 that he prays in his spirit and with his mind, and he sings in his spirit and with his mind. Believing doesn't mean you don't use your brain, but believing does admit that human intellect isn't enough.

That's funny . . . I believe in God, and I'm a professional Engineer . . . you don't get too far in Engineering by "feeling."
Have you ever wondered where the universe came from? I don't think you "thought" this thing all the way through. Maybe you should switch to "feeling" you may be better at that.

Your question really makes atheists look bad. I like to think of them as intelligent and caring. I like to think of most people that way. You could be a believer. You just don't want to be.
May God Bless you.

Because you think yourself too wise. sometimes we get lost in our own vanity and miss the truth that is available once we submit to God. No man can reveal God through his physical eyes we are made of sin and we can not see God. We can not overpower God. when we understand that God reveals his truth to who he chooses and seek him on his terms reather than with our won idea of wisdom we receive a gift and this gift is faith and through faith comes revelation and a real relationship with God.
The Bible teaches many are called and few are chosen. who are the chosen but those who love the truth. If you seek the truth with all of your heart he has promised you will find him. It is always on his terms not ours.
