Uhh, maybe it's just me.... I'm failing to see the point here. Besides, anyone who's ever been to France (ask Rosbif, for example) knows that Stop signs in France actually just say "STOP" on them and look more or less identical to Stop signs in the US. So your whole argument falls apart.
