In the Philippines some pig raisers collect surplus food from the neighborhood and mix them with other cooked vegetables. In far-flung areas they do not mix so much artificial chemicals into pig food.

...what kind of "pig"...? a show pig like a Pot-belly ? or a walking Bar B Q like one of them BIG white hogs...? just remember, pigs do not sweat... they need lots of water, a "clean" place to lay in...hay, lots of hay... shade in the summer and a place to get out of the bad weather... and you'd better like the idea of clean'n up pig-crap... "they" crap everywhere...and lots of it...

use only mud from state parks , use slop from organic groceries, and build pen from fallen wood.
