Eh...so I fell down the stairs ( 5 stairs [concrete] ) at school walking to the auditorium. One of the cuts (under my nose) started to scab up after a day or whatever and EVERYBODY started telling me "Jasmine, you BETTER NOT pick that scab off" I listened to them for a few days, but then the scab started to peel off a little bit on the edges. I knew what they had told me but...but it was just so tempting...I couldn't stand to leave it alone. So I picked off the edges, and I ended up picking of about half the scab. I'm so worried about what is going to happen next!! I've had A LOT of scabs of my legs, and the all turned into scars. =[

Now that it's off, KEEP IT MOISTURIZED!! Use a moisturizer with alpha hydroxy in it -- put it on several times a day. Within a week, it will be on its way to healing. It'll look pink for awhile, but it'll fade.

Your body will make a new scar! If you worry about scars, then put some Neosporn on it. It shouldn't be a problem. If they really bother you and you want to pick them, but a band aid on it to avoid it bothering you. They have surgery that can remove scars ( I don't recommend it) But if a scab bothers you, try to ignore it!

Absolutely nothing, apart from making it heal more slowly and a little sore. It's very difficult to get scraped up deeply enough to leave a scar under your nose.

Don't worry about it.

you will make it bleed some, when you are home alone or before bed put some antibiotic cream on it. you can buy it right over the counter at the drug store!
