I am an Orthodontist and can probably answer your question. Invisalign does work for majority of malocclusion's. However, with Invisalign, the teeth will become straight but perfect occlusion/bite is difficult. I prefer traditional braces because of better control. In my Northern California Orthodontic practice, I charge $5230 irrespective of Invisalign or braces. One final not, you are supposed to have overbite of of 2 mm and anything more is called deep bite. Hope that helps.

You have to talk with your orthodontist. They work for some conditions and not others. I had an overbite that they would not work for (not sure of the reason).

No one would be able to tell but your Dentist. I hate to say it but I've met crook dentists though and they say ppl need braces and fillings when they dont just to get money. If your really worried about it just go see another dentist though and see what he says about it.
