A few mistakes here.
The US is no position to launch an invasion of Iran. No troops, not enough supplies in theater, tied in in Iraq and Afghanistan, no support at all for it, etc. No, Iran will not be invaded en masse. They may face air strikes and cruise missile salvos. The only troops in Iran are Special Ops running destabilization, LRRP, and insurgency ops (the irony).
While Saddam had no WMDs as Tenet "slamdunked" us with, the Iranians are most certainly working 24 hours a day on them. They see how the US responded to N.Korea getting them (Energy Aid announced today). They also know via the above they won't be invaded. And I don't think anyone believes air strikes and cruise missiles will do jack.
No invasion. Iran gets nukes. And Bush looks downright silly for invading the wrong country.

I happen to know someone whose Humvee got hit by one of those 'improvised' explosives. (IED is a pretty stupid name for precision manufactured munitions - ever wonder what agenda is served by using that term?) Maybe you'd like to tell him to his face that they're a 'lie.' I'm sure he'll be impressed that you, in your cozy safe life here at home, know more than the people who are actually there fighting and dying on your behalf.
