The humor is in the idiots stupid enough to believe in mythology.

Humor in the Qur'an, I'm not aware of any (tho I'm no expert in arabic...)
But the Gospels contain more than one pun made by Jesus. These come to my mind now: "You see the speck in your neighbour's eye but not the log in your own"; "they sift (?) the small bug (from the well's water) but drink the camel" (Dialysontes ton konoma ten de kamelon katapinontes)
They were indeed jokes, but centuries of ecclesiastic solemnity erased the humor of it...
Please excuse the language of my quotes. I never read the Bible in English...

The book of Esther is satire/comedy. It's about the Israelites in the diaspora and assimilation into the Babylonian culture. There are also many puns, but one must understand Hebrew to find them.

The Book of Julius has many examples of wedgies, seat squirters, arrests by phony centurions, and camel goosings. Unfortunately this book was removed from the bible by the Puritans.

Reading the Bible and seeing all the holes in it is pretty funny. Also, seeing someone try to explain the trinity is funny too, but that's not actually in the Bible ;)

In fact, you're probably sitting on your toilet so you don't have to get up.
