Anyone on here ever worked there when it was owned by the Norfolk family, or anyone remember it.

Yes, I met my wife there in 1970, she was a student at Ilkley College. The C&C had a good disco going at that time. Good times, good fun and you could drive then. It is still there of course, and a little further on is a pub called 'the hermit'. Sadly, my wife has died, but it is still a source of good memories.

Remembering the old days I went the other day. The Cow and Calf restaurant is such a missed opportunity. Fantastic location, parking, outside space, decent sized bar & dining area and amazing views. Crap food.
