Singles just don't understand what it's like to have kids. Yes, your friends will not go out with you as much; the kids require a LOT of attention and energy, more than you can imagine, and of course they won't want you getting drunk at a kid's birthday party. In fact, you should not accept those invitations if you feel the need to get drunk there and make an a** of yourself. You shouldn't have to convince anyone that you don't want kids right now, that's your choice. There is a certain kind of closeness you can have with parents of other children the same age as yours, and it's nice to be able to share that with your friends. But if you need friends to party with, then go out partying or wherever and strike up conversations with people you think might be good friend material. It's hard to make new friends but it sounds like that's what you need to do. Oh, and it wouldn't hurt to just be honest with your friends with kids: you need to give them space but also say that you would like, even if it's just once in a long while, to go out and have fun the way you used to. That way you might have a chance of keeping these friends, in the long term at least.

I didn't know that there are still sado's out there that are interested enough to waste their own time worrying about other people.......maybe your life is so sad to have sat there thinking about the question in the first place.........maybe if you got off your **** and looked around, you'll see you're in a minority.

Life is for living, enjoy each day as it comes, GET A LIFE......!!

I am a vegetarian. well not a strict vegetarian. i will eat a little chicken and sometimes some beef or pork. i also like lamb and goat but I never eat fish. ( just joking. i love fish)
I do not drink or smoke or take drugs and I eat whole grain wheat only and avoid any high fructose corn syrup. I never drink sodas of any kind and get a lot of water. I do drink a little coffee and take vitamins. I use green tea to substitutte for former soda habit.( iced) never add sugar to anything. Like oatmeal for breakfast. for a treat i drink pomgranet juice with a little mineral water. for treats i eat oranges or grapes or cherrys. better than any candy. love cantlope and kiwis too. i also eat a lot of nuts, raw nuts.

Yes, and you need to get a life. In a world where we have murders/rapes and killing of young children, domestic violence, drug fuelled violence, mugging of our OAP's, and our young men dying in wars. You made the statement that life is 'too (note YOUR misspelling) valuable to waste on slow suicide'. How would you equate that to one of our soldiers serving today. Would you deny them a drink/a cigarette/Sunday roast, given what they are going through now? My father served for 30 years in Army/SAS and did all of the things you find disgusting - do you still think he an 'ignorant sucker'?!!!! You couldn't hold a candle to him. You need to educate yourself.

I'll let you know when I've finished my T-bone steak and beer, but not before I've had my cigar and chased a few loose women.
