How would I go about convincing my girlfriend to make out with me?

I'm not sure, but whatever you DO do, don't ever say "So...uhhh....do you want to make out?" I had that happen during what had been a "platonic" date (well up until that incredibly awkward moment) and not only did I have to respond with "Are you serious?" but I also let out a little giggle. Mind you, this was a grown man asking me, not a teenager. My best advice is whatever you do, behave natuarally.
