I was at this school dance and i told my friend who i like. and the guy that i like is one of my closest friend. and her and another girl went up to him and asked him to dance with me and he said he would. then everytime a slow song came on, he made some excuse to get away. so i'm confused. why did he say yes if he isn't gonna ask me?

Maybe he just felt intimidated by your friends. I'm sorry to say that, but it happens quite a lot...he probably just didn't know how to say no. Either that or he likes you also, but felt embarassed to ask you. Tough situation

I f you are talking about a Jr. high dance,a nd the boy is 14 or so. You must remember that boys that age are very shy. Around their guy friends they might not be, but one on one with a girl they are. Try taling over the phone for a while first.

it is possible that he may like you but to shy to admit it but i doubt it
at my school dances if me or one of my friends like a girl we ask her to dance to every slow song
