I have just turned 18 and I would like to take a crack at dating,
so where do I start? what do I do exactly? I'm hoping to find someone japanese

You might go to a church when the congregation has a lot of Japanese, that has youth activities, example: dancing. A college setting is a good place. Are there any Japanese Community Clubs around? Go to free community functions, maybe even the library. Dating doesn't have to cost a lot. Just get out in the world and get involved, take up a hobby, maybe a sport. Hang out at the beach maybe. Take up hiking, join the Sierra Club. The opportunities are endless. Get a dog and walk him at the park. bicycle or skate the coast bike paths, do some hand gliding at the Santa Monica Pier. You're bound to find some one. A nice smile is always appropriate. AND TREAT A GIRL LIKE SHE IS A REAL HUMAN BEING. You can always talk about school, family, sports, religion, the weather, etc.

there's no real rules of dating. you should just introduce yourself to any girls you find you're interested in. if u dont take chances by putting yourself out there then you'll never meet anybody. u just have to be yourself and you'll attract people
