Well, it took almost no time to get them used to it. I do it, once a week, right after their long Sunday bath. I just tell them, and always did, long nails are dirty thing and they need to go.

Well, I'm embarassed to say, but I don't check my kids' nails very often. I will notice them if they get long or dirty, then I will clip them. But as far as having a routine set, nope. Maybe I should.

I pay close attention nice my son is 2 and my daughter is crawling. My son likes to play dirty, and his hands and nails get dirty even after I wash them. I cut them at the end of every week. My daughter is 10 months and she likes to play with hair, she loves to play with her tummy and if I don't cut her nails every week she'll have a lot of stratches.

My daughter screams and fights when I try to do her nails - she's 18 months old. I do it when she's asleep. I do her fingernails about once a week (biting them in between if one gets sharp) and her toenails about once every 3 weeks. They grow at the speed of light squared, don't they? Sharp little buggers, too!

via fact the mothers of sixteen, 17, and 18 toddlers are helping and looking out after them! Octo-mom is out determining to purchase while she would desire to be looking after her toddlers. She basically feels like an undeserving mom all around.

Since birth I got them used to the fact that I clipp their nails...so for them it is not a big issue.
Actually now..that they are 7 and 11 years old...they remaind ME when they need a trim!
We used to have a regular day, once a week to do it.
But we lost it...but it bothers them so they come to me for help...how cool is that?

When they were babies, i used to bite them off. I was afraid to clip their skin. When they got older i made it "Play salon" time and they were fine.

I'm lucky that my son will sit nicely on my lap and let me trim them. I check and see how long they are when he's in the bathtub.
