The site that I found says that Ossian is a small deer & it is Latin in origin:
http://www.babynamesworld.com/browse_by_o_6.html

Whereas this site:
http://www.babyhold.com/list/Irish_Baby_Names/Ossian/details/
says that Ossian is Irish - but the meaning is virtually the same - Fawn (a young deer)

I'm struggling to find a meaning of Oshan - I found it on this site
http://www.vornamen-liste.de/first-names-o.html
but the site is not complete & it didn't link to a meaning, sorry.

Ooh, just found it on here - but as a surname - origin England - around Norfolk:
http://search.swyrich.com/searchresults.asp?Licensee=uk24071&Surname=oshan&sId=&t=5411
complete with a coat of arms! ( Black with an ermine fess between two silver eagles - not sure what a fess is as the coat of arms is only a sample)

Ossian is a derivation of a name of Irish origin - see the link attached.

Many boys in Ireland are named Oisín.
