heaven= do good things, be a good person
hell= the exact opposite of that^^^
but depending on your religion it might be different, keep that in mind

Well, we never really know but I would recommend first to accept Jesus into your heart, that is a must if you want to go to heaven and the rest is to live your life as the best person you can be. Do the opposite if you want to go to hell and burn for all eternity.

Great Question! You can know too. Have a Bible? One person in history came to answer that question. His name was Jesus Christ. He came to tell everyone that he was sent from God and in fact WAS God to make a way to heaven for mankind. He predicted his death and also predicted that he would come back in three days to prove that he was who he said he was. Guess What? He did it. No one else in history ever did that. He did it to pay the price for sin...if a person will accept His sacrifice for their personal sin and follow Him. (Romans 3:23; 6:23; 5:8, John 1:12, 5:24,John 3:16-18, 1 Peter 3:18). If you do that, His payment for your sin is your ticket to heaven. Your gratitude for HIS sacrifice will change your life...2000 years of history is evidence of its appeal.

Nobody knows!!!! But if you want to become a christian, then you better be willing to do all the things the right way, because some people go to church, read the bible and pray, and when they are not doing those things, they are either dissing someone and acting like they are all that!!!! i know people that do that, and they get baptized and devote themselves to god, but what they are really doing is hiding behind the bible! I am just glad that I never got baptized, I just believe in the lord and pray whenever I need him, but I don't go to church, only because people stare to much!!!!

Go to church, pray, read the bible, follow God's word, be an all around good person! I am doing that and I sure as heck hope that I am going to Heaven!

You can be sure you are going to heaven is if you have dedicated your life to the Lord and also you have to walk the life.
Grow more in the Lord eveyday and say no to sin.

If you are not serious, this question will make me mad. If you are serious:
Open a King James Version Bible to John 3:16. "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son so that man shall not perish but have everlasting life."
This tells us that God gave his Son to die for us and to pay for our sins. Romans 10:13 says, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved"
You MUST ask Jesus to come into your heart and forgive you for past, present, and future sins. There is no reason for someone to go to Hell with their sins paid for. That is like going to jail for saying you stole something that you really bought.
To know for sure that you will go to Heaven, pray this prayer or something along the lines of it:
"Lord, I understand that you gave up your Son to die for me. I know he paid for my sins, and I ask you to come into my heart to forgive me."
After that, you should go to a Baptist Church. They will (pun intended) scare the Hell outta ya.

Do you believe in God and Jesus? You must say the sinners prayer. " Dear GOD, I know that I am a sinner, I believe that your Son Jesus Christ has died in my place at Calvery, I accept His death as full payment for my sins, I accept him as my Savior. If you say this prayer and follow the Lords rules you will go to Heaven. You must pray to Jesus and stay close to him through prayer.

how can you be sure?
well im sure im going to heaven because i believe that jesus (son of god) died for out sins :).
For me, thats the only way i would know.
its odd, im the type to doubt everything, but for some reason i dont doubt that im going to heaven O_o.

Ask God for forgiveness. Say that you know you are a sinner and you need your soul to be cleansed. Pray. Talk to him like he is your best friend. When you are saved and have asked Jesus into your heart, you can be sure you will be forgiven.
