if it takes 3 men, 3 days to dig 3 holes. how long should it take 1 men to dig 1/2 holes?

Well,one hole takes three men to dig in one day.If 1 man dag the hole by himself,he would have dug 1/3 of the hole in one day.To dig the rest 1/6 of the hole(half hole)it would take him half a day more(as 1/6 is the half of 1/3)..That would be 1 day and a half!
